County, City Each Announce Road Projects Tuesday

Effingham County Highway Department will be performing road work along County Highway 8 (1975th Ave) approximately ¼ mile west of 1300th St on Tuesday (3/30). This work will result in the road being closed from 8 am to approximately 3 pm.  If you have any questions please feel to the contact the Effingham County Highway Department at 342-6550 with any questions.

 Meanwhile, the City of Effingham has announced Charlotte Street will be closed to thru traffic from West Rickelman Avenue to Shiloh Avenue. This will be going on Tuesday from 7am to 3pm due to fire hydrant replacement work.
