DQ Presents Shining Star Award

Dairy Queen of Effingham recognized Wade Peddycoart of Sacred Heart School with the March Shining Star Award. The award symbolizes Dairy Queen's belief that our future rests with the youth of our community.

Wade, a preschooler, was selected by Sacred Heart School staff based on pre-set standards. He is pictured with Cally Holste of Effingham DQ who is presenting Wade his plaque for receiving the monthly award, and a certificate for a free meal from Dairy Queen. 

When Wade grows up, he wants to be a police officer.
