Stew-Stras School Board Approves Coming School Year Calendar

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members Wednesday approved the calendar for the coming school year.

A Teachers Institute will begin the year on August 17, with the first day of classes on August 18. 

The Board also voted to keep student fees for the coming school year the same as the current school year, and tabled project authorization for a school pump station and force main related to the school sewer system.

Stew-Stras board members approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Windsor school district to share the services of Jill Spour during the coming school year, and tabled handbook recommendations for the coming school year until the April meeting.

The Stew-Stras board accepted the resignation of Courtney Wittenberg as junior high track coach and hired Justin Deters to replace her, and accepted a letter of retirement from Donna Rincker.
