Teutopolis village board members Wednesday purchased two solar-powered radar signs.

There is already such a sign along Main Street by Teutopolis Grade School; these signs will be posted along Main Street by Teutopolis High School and along the road leading north onto what becomes Pearl Street in the village limits.

The Board tabled award of a bid for sidewalk work in Phase One of Prairie View Subdivision to do some more research. John Lewis Construction had bid just under $140,000 on the work.

Approved for payment was a $46,000 bid for general work on the new village hall, an invoice of just over $9,000 for copiers in the village hall, and just more than $2,800 for two docking stations for a laptop for police department squad cars.

Also okayed was release of a lot in the village, and a hazardous mitigation resoluton that makes the Village eligible to apply for grant funds
