Cowden-Herrick Board Moves Ahead w/Infrastructure Improvements

Cowden-Herrick school board members Thursday moved ahead with some infrastructure improvements.

The Board voted to obtain bids for asphalt surfacing at the Herrick campus, and to seek bids on mowing for this year. Board members also approved a contract for three years with QNS.

In personnel moves, the Cowden-Herrick board voted to employed Connor Wachtel as Social Studies teacher at the junior high school for the 2021-2022 school year, employed Charlotte Blickem as a bus driver for the Effingham TLC route, employed Clint Lorton as high school track coach, Sheila Moore as junior high track coach and Consuela Lorton as volunteer coach for both the junior high and high school track teams. The Board also accepted Kari Deadmond's resignation as high school volleyball assistant coach.
