City Police Release Details on Monday Afternoon Crash

Effingham city police have released details on a crash with injuries that occurred just after 4pm Monday in the south part of town.
The crash happened at South Banker Street and Eversman Avenue. A vehicle driven by 18-year-old Hannah Baugher of Toledo pulled into the path of and was struck by two vehicles. The units were driven by 48-year-old Doyle Mehl and 26-year-old Erin Zacha, both of Effingham.
Baugher and a passenger in Mehl's vehicle, 48-year-old Melody Mehl of Effingham, both sustained injuries and were transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Baugher was cited for failure to yield.
