Snow-Aided Crash Monday Morning in Effingham

A snow-aided crash sent one person to the hospital Monday morning.

The crash happened just after 7am at Linden and Clark. City police report a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Alicia Kessler of Effingham skidded on the snow-covered roadway and struck a vehicle driven by 24-year-old David Boone of Effingham.

Boone was injured and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham. 

Kessler was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
