Brownstown school board members employed Mose, Yockey, Brown and Kull to audit the school district's financial records for the school year; reviewed the tentative school calendar for 2021-2022; agreed to keep closed session minutes closed; approved a three-year agreement with Bushue Human Resources; increased the stipend for athletic officials; increased ballgame ticket prices; set the substitute teacher pay rate; approved seniority lists; and okayed board policy updates.

The Board approved letters of retirement from Kristy Dokey, Karen Lotz, Paul Parkison and Verla Reed; approved letters of resignation from Monica Harshman and Ray Lake; employed Roger Smith as a full-time temporary custodian for the 2021-2022 school year; employed Sam Plum as a Title I aide for the 2021-2022 school year; and authorized Superintendent Mike Shackelford to prepare letters to the teacher and support staff associations informing them of the possibility of reductions in force for the 2021-2022 school year.
