3,751 New Confirmed and Probable COVID Cases in State Wednesday

The Illinois Department of Public Health Wednesday reported 3,751 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease in the state, including 81 COVID-related deaths.

There were no COVID-related deaths reported in any area counties.

As of Tuesday night, 2,931 people in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 591 patients were in the ICU and 300 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators.
