Stewardson-Strasburg school board members this week were presented contractor proposals for guaranteed energy savings projects. The Board's building committee will meet to discuss the proposals.

Board members approved allowing qualified individuals to serve as volunteer substitute teachers, and discussed the expiration of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. Several districts in the area have extended the act through the end of March.

The Stew-Stras Board received an update on a possible bus purchase, discussed COVID-19 vaccinations in Phase 1B, and hired Megan Cress as a high school Math teacher for the 2021-2022 school year.
