St. Elmo school board members this week directed their administration to gather information to help develop a random drug policy.

The policy would be for students involved in athletics and other extra-curricular activities, as well as students who drive to and from school.

The Board also voted to waive athletic fees for this school year, and to approve a Risk Management Plan for the district.

St. Elmo board members accepted a letter of retirement from Judy Hejnal at the end of this school year, and accepted a letter of retirement from Scarlett Duckwitz at the end of this school year.
