Probable cause was found Thursday to hold a man charged with murder in Richland County over for trial.

(MATTOX)

60-year-old Michael Mattox of Dundas is charged in the December 26th deaths of 48-year-old DeAnn Richardson and 69-year-old Judy Jourdan, both of Olney. Mattox is accused of driving his pickup truck through an intersection in Olney and striking the women while they were standing on the patio of Deuce's Wild Saloon. Mattox faces two counts of first degree murder as well as a count of aggravated battery in a public place.

Judge Ray Vaughn ruled that since multiple deaths were involved in the incident, Mattox if convicted potentially could face up to life imprisonment.

A pretrial in the case is scheduled for March 4. No trial date has been scheduled.

Mattox is being held in Richland County Jail under $1.5 million.
