23 New COVID Cases in Effingham County Wednesday

The Effingham County Health Department Wednesday reported 23 new positive cases of COVID-19.

Here's the breakdown:

MALES--three teens, five in their 20s, two in their 30s, two in their 40s, two in their 50s, one in his 60s

FEMALES--one teen, one in her 20s, two in their 30s, one in her 40s, two in their 50s, one in her 70s

Illinois Region 6 test positivity seven-day rolling average is 9.3% through December 20, and Effingham County is 12.1% for the same period.
