Water Authority Board Approves Lease w/Friends of Camp Wassatoga

Effingham Water Authority trustees Thursday approved a new lease with a group known as Friends of Camp Wassatoga.

The Friends are taking over the lease from the Girl Scouts, and the terms are basically the same as the Water Authority used to lease the ground to the Girl Scouts.

This is property owned by the Water Authority. The Girl Scouts still own land at the lake and are working on an easement to gain access to the property.
