North Clay school board members learned Wednesday that the district has been a very busy place.

Superintendent Travis Wyatt reported that in-person students returned to the classroom on November 30 after a two-week remote learning period. There was also a report on the Thanksgiving Break meal distribution when a week's worth of meals were distributed and on meal distribution this week on Monday and Thursday. There was an update on live teaching for remote learning students via Google Meet, the high school Adopt-a-Family program, and Homecoming Week activities celebrated the week of December 7. High school Video Editing students are also working on the annual Christmas Video where staff members wish the North Clay district a very Merry Christmas, and there were reports on the annual Reindeer Games set for December 22 as well as achievements by students, fundraisers, and the distribution of new Chromebooks to junior high teachers by Technology Coordinator Chad Traub.

In action, North Clay board members adopted new board policies; approved other policies for first reading; approved the audit for the past fiscal year; passed the tax levy for the new fiscal year; and approved the intergovernmental agreement for the Effingham Regional Career Academy.
