Trustees learned at their recent meeting that the township is set up to receive Motor Fuel Tax dollars for maintenance, while EWA is not.

The agreement calls for the Water Authority to give the township two payments totaling $10,000 a year, for a total of $200,000 over 10 years. Final approval of the agreement is yet to come.

Tom Ryan reported that funding for Phase One of the Pearson Peninsula project should be forthcoming. Ryan anticipates construction to start in the spring, with a Grand Opening on Memorial Day.

Trustees learned that an easement was approved to provide access to the deeded property owned by the Girl Scouts. EWA will not have to maintain the easement.

A Girl Scouts lease agreement with Friends of Camp Wassatoga will be discussed at the January meeting.

A sliver of EWA property will be deeded to the Probsts to settle a mediation. EWA will pay $500 as its share of the mediation cost.

Don Bushue spoke to the trustees on an easement on EWA property to deeded property he owns and plans to divide. Trustee Chairman Rob Brown asked whether Bushue might be interested in leasing the property instead.

Jane Montello of Good Neighbors of Lake Sara reported they have 238 members, the highest ever, despite the pandemic. Trustees also approved the audit for the past fiscal year.
