Salvation Army Bellringing Begins Today

The 2020 Effingham County Salvation Army gets underway today. 

Salvation Army helps people with emergency needs. 

There are four permanent locations for Salvation Army kettles; Rural King, Kirby Foods, Niemerg’s Steak House and Sav-A-Lot Foods. There will also be bellringing at Walmart every Friday and Saturday. 

All of those locations will be the scene of bellringing between today and Christmas from 10am to 6pm, and on Christmas Eve from 9am to 2pm. 

There is a roundup at the register on online orders at Walmart, and QR codes on every sign. Just aim your phone to pay that way. 

Salvation Army will also have counter kettles and stand-alone kettles where people can help. One will be at Joe’s Pizza and Pasta in downtown Effingham.
