IDPH Reports COVID Fatals in Fayette County

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported three deaths related to COVID-19 in Fayette County Wednesday.
The deaths were those of a female in her 70s, and two females in their 80s. That brings the number of fatal COVID cases in Fayette County to six.
The IDPH report also lists a COVID death in Effingham County of a female in her 70s, but we had reported that death earlier this week.
There were 35 confirmed deaths reported Wednesday statewide.
