Large Number of Robinson Prison Inmates COVID Positive

A large number of Robinson Correctional Center inmates have tested positive for COVID-19.

The Illinois Department of Corrections confirmed that 134 Robinson inmates have tested positive. Just two have recovered, so far.

16 staff members at the Robinson prison have tested positive. Four of those have recovered.

At Vandalia Correctional Center, two inmates tested positive, and both have recovered.

14 staff members at Vandalia tested positive; seven have recovered.

Eight inmates at Taylorville Correctional Center have tested positive; three have recovered.

Seven staff members at Taylorville tested positive. six have recovered.

Three inmates at Graham Correctional Center in Hillsboro, no inmates at Centralia and two at Lawrenceville tested positive.
