*Update* Flora Woman Killed in Early Saturday Morning Accident

State Police say a 45-year-old Dana Robinson of Flora was killed in an early Saturday morning two-vehicle crash on Hickory Hill Lane near Lincoln Road in Clay County. The crash occurred at 1:40 Saturday morning..

The name of the victim was not initially released pending notification of next of kin.

Preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle driven by Robinson was traveling west on Hickory Hill Lane when she lost control and ran off the right side of the road. The SUV then traveled through a ditch, a beanfield, and across a residential yard before striking an SUV parked in the driveway of the home.

Robinson was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.

There were no passengers in the vehicle.

The State Poice investigation is continuing.
