Farina Resident Injured in Crash on Blacktop Tuesday

A Farina resident was injured in a crash along the Altamont/Farina Blacktop just after 11am Tuesday.

A truck driven by 52-year-old Shannan Miner of Farina was northbound when the truck ran off the roadway to the left, struck a culvert and ditch, then stopped in a tree line.

Miner was transported to an area hospital with what were termed non life threatening injuries.

State police cited Miner for driving on a suspended license, improper lane usage and failure to wear a seat belt.
