Effingham Unit 40 Has Announced the Schedule for the 2020-2021 School Year

The Effingham Unit 40 School District has released the student schedule for the 2020-2021 school year.

Wednesday, August 26 is the first day of attendance for students.

Buses will transport students to and from school. Exceptions are the Early Learning Center, Central ECE, and South Side students, who should be brought by parents and guardians to and from school.

ELC, ECE and South Side will utilize the first two days of school August 26 and 27 for their Meet the Teacher Event. 

Here's the schedule by building:

EFFINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL--August 26 and 27--Start 7:45am, Dismiss 1:30pm, Regular School Day 7:45am to 1:30pm

EFFINGHAM JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL--August 26 and 27--Start 8am, Dismiss 2pm, Regular School Day 8am to 2pm

CENTRAL GRADE SCHOOL--August 26 and 27--Start 8am, Dismiss 2pm, Regular School Day 8am to 2pm

CENTRAL EARLY CHILD EDUCATION--August 26 and 27--Parents take students, students will leave with parents; Starting August 28, Morning Preschool students will attend from 8:15am to 10:50am, Afternoon Preschool students will attend from 12:15pm to 2:50pm

SOUTH SIDE SCHOOL--August 26 and 27--Parents of students who have registered should have received a letter indicating the day and time that they will take their child on August 26 OR August 27; as of August 28--8am to 2pm

ELC KINDERGARTEN--August 26 and 27--Parents take students and stay for a half-hour. Parents received a letter identifying the time for their Meet the Teacher Event, students will leave with their parents; as of August 28--8am to 2pm
