The Effingham County Health Department Wednesday reported 10 new positive COVID-19 cases in the county.

All individuals are reported doing well in isolation.

Eight of the 10 reported no known contact with a positive case.

The Health Department reminds it will be hosting an Illinois Department of Public Health Mobile COVID Testing Unit on Tuesday, August 18 from 9am to 5pm. The drive-thru clinic is open to everyone, at no cost to the individual, with no appointment needed. Take along your insurance card if you have one.
