Six Additional Shelby County Positive COVID Cases

Shelby County Health Department Wednesday reported six more positive cases of coronavirus disease.

The individuals are a 45-year-old male, 54-year-old male, 72-year-old female, 58-year-old female, 21-year-old male and a 57-year-old male.

Two of the individuals are reporting moderate symptoms and four are reporting mild symptoms.

Shelby County has now reported 68 positive COVID-19 cases.

Deaths were reported Wednesday in area counties; a female in her 80s in Coles County and a male in his 60s in Clark County.

The seven-day positivity rate for the state is at 3.9%.
