No Plea Reached in McCammack Case in Fayette County

No plea was reached in the Fayette County court case of Trevor McCammack Wednesday.

The 34-year-old McCammack is charged with attempted murder in the shooting of David Troxell of Brownstown in September of 2019. Troxell went to a rural residence in the early morning hours of September 23 and sought assistance, saying he had been shot. Troxell was taken for treatment, and McCammack was taken into custody later that morning.

A hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday for a possible plea by McCammack but, instead, a hearing was scheduled for August 12 for pretrial motions. No trial date has been set for the Herrick resident.

McCammack is being held in Fayette County Jail under $1 million bond.
