Coles County Reports 18th COVID-Related Death

Coles County Health Department Monday reported an 18th death of a person with COVID-19.

The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Coles County as of Monday was at 327, with 11 currently hospitalized, 228 recovered, and 70 recovering.

Coles County health officials say their highest priority is isolating and quarantining all positive cases and their contacts within 24 hours of receiving their positive COVID-19 laboratory confirmed test. The word from the Department is, "The sooner we isolate/quarantine, the quicker we slow the spread of the virus."
