462 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Reported Monday by IDPH

462 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease in Illinois were reported Monday by the state Department of Public Health.

The report includes 26 additional confirmed deaths. 21 of the deaths were reported in Cook County.

No new positive cases were reported Monday in area counties. 

More than 18,000 specimens were submitted to state laboratories.

The preliminary seven-day statewide positivity for cases as a percent of total tests is just 2%.
