Republicans in Illinois are suing the governor in federal court over J.B. Pritzker's executive order on limiting gatherings to 10 people or fewer.

In a nutshell, the lawsuit claims the order is unconstitutional and there must be room for political groups to meet. This, after the Illinois Republican Party held their annual convention in a virtual setting.

Illinois Republican Party Chair Tim Schneider says limits on funerals, weddings and baseball games come as he and others watch Pritzker join mass gatherings of protesters over civil rights.

As of now, neither the Governor, his office or the Attorney General have commented on the lawsuit.
