Low Numbers for Daily COVID-19 Count Sunday

The numbers were low as far as the daily count of new COVID-19 cases in Illinois Sunday.

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 867 confirmed cases, and 43 additional confirmed deaths.

33 of the deaths were from Cook County. The others occurred in DuPage, Lake, St. Clair and Will Counties.

In the 24-hour period ending at 2pm Sunday, 20,700 specimens were reported at laboratories.
