Cowden-Herrick School Board Approves Coaching Assignments

Cowden-Herrick school board members approved coaching assignments at this month's meeting for the coming school year.

Those named include:

High School Volleyball--Katy Noble

High School Volleyball Assistant--Kari Deadmond

High School Girls Basketball--Carolyn Wendte

High School Girls Basketball Assistant--Larry Young

Junior High Cross Country--Jennifer Hopkins

Junior High Boys Basketball--Marc Bain

Junior High Volleyball--Angela Jeffries

Junior High Track--Jennifer Hopkins

The Board also accepted Andy Nohren's resignation as High School Cross Country and High School Track Coach for the coming school year.

Board members also hired Madonna Shellenbarger and Madison Cherry for summer help; approved health and life safety projects; and approved an intergovernmental agreement with Beecher City school district to fill the social worker position for both districts.

Also approved were computer upgrades by QNS, as well as a tentative amended budget for the current fiscal year for public review.
