The Illinois Department of Public Health Friday reported the state's positivity rate, the rate of positive tests compared to the tests being conducted, is at 16%.

The rate of positive tests staying below 20% by month's end is one of the requirements to move from Phase II to Phase III of the governor's Restore Illinois plan.

IDPH Friday reported 2,432 new positive cases of coronavirus disease. The number includes 130 additional deaths.

86 of those deaths were assigned to Cook County.

Shelby County reported its 12th positive case Friday; that will be reported in the state report Saturday. That's the only positive case reported in an area county Friday.

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 90,369 cases, including 4,058 deaths, in Illinois.

The toll-free COVID-19 hotline is 1-800-889-3931.
