Effingham County Board will conduct its regular monthly board meeting Monday afternoon. The meeting will be streamed live using a YouTube connection to assist with social distancing rules due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

The meeting starts at 4 p.m. on April 20 and the agenda will include mostly routine items with other business. The Hosting Agreement was tabled to the Legislative Meeting on May 11. People can attend in person Monday but there is limited seating for the audience area and all attendees are asked to wear a face mask. The meeting will convene in the third floor board meeting room of the Effingham County Office Building, located at the corner of Fourth Street and Jefferson Avenue.

If anyone wants to attend the meeting and speak on an agenda item contact Deb Ruholl at (217) 342-4990 or email her at countyboard@co.effingham.il.us before 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Written statements for the board can be submitted at the County Board office up to a half hour before the meeting.

The board held a meeting combining several committees on April 13. The YouTube stream of that meeting is available for viewing on the Effingham County Government website. If you have questions on gaining access to the YouTube stream call Deb at (217) 342-4990.
