St. Rep. Blaine Wilhour has been named to the Economic Recovery Working Group to help develop a plan to move the state's economy forward following the coronavirus emergency.

House Republican Leader Jim Durkin identified Wilhour to serve on the working group because of his work on the House Labor and Commerce Committee and his experience as a small business owner.

The Working Group is expected to meet via video conferencing this week to begin gathering data related to unemployment numbers, hospital cases, supply chain information from trucking companies, and agriculture and manufacturing needs. The information will help with the development of public policy proposals designed to aid an economic recovery.
