1,173 Coronavirus Cases in Illinois Announced Monday

The Illinois Department of Public Health Monday announced 1,173 new cases of coronavirus disease in the state. The report includes 74 additional deaths.

58 of the deaths occurred in Cook County, along with five deaths in DuPage County, four deaths in Will County, three deaths in Lake County, and one each in Kane and McHenry Counties, along with the deaths we reported earlier in Fayette County and Jasper County.

Johnson County is now reporting a case. Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 22,025 cases, including 794 deaths, in 87 counties in Illinois.
