Health Care Workers Asked to Sign Up

Governor JB Pritzker is asking all licensed health care workers to sign up for an emergency alert system.

He says doctors, nurses, and others in the medical field should visit IllinoisHelps.net.

“By signing up you will be joining an alert system that when activated will ask you to deploy to assist to urgent needs during this public health crisis.”

The Governor says the health care workforce is expanding as the state has received more than 500 applications from retired medical professionals wanting to help.   More are needed.
