Three Injured in Crash Along Keller Drive Sunday

Three people were injured in a crash along Keller Drive Sunday morning.

Effingham city police report the crash happened at the intersection with Midtowne Boulevard at 11:29am. 

Police report a vehicle driven by 53-year-old Lisa Berkel of Effingham pulled into the path of, and was struck by, a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Richard Milanec of Shumway.

Berkel, as well as Berkel's passenger, 76-year-old Bill Turner of Teutopolis, and a passenger in Milanec's vehicle, 33-year-old Melissa Milanec of Shumway, were all injured, but all three refused treatment.

There were no citations issued.
