Area State Representatives Schedule Taxpayer Revolt Rally

Area state representatives have scheduled what they're calling a Taxpayer Revolt Rally.

The event is set for this Sunday from 2 to 4pm at the Effingham Performance Center as a way to seek reforms to current fiscal policies in Illinois, and to discuss the proposed progressive income tax.

Local state representatives Blaine Wilhour and Darren Bailey are hosting the event, along with State Representatives Chris Miller of Oakland and Brad Halbrook of Shelbyville and other Republican state representatives and state representative candidates.
