Car-Deer Accident Injures Two

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies report both the driver and passenger complained of apparent minor injuries when their SUV struck a deer on Route 37 at 6:24 Thursday night near the Baylis Road intersection in rural Kinmundy.

The driver of the SUV was 28-year-old Chelsey Maske of St. Peter. She complained of minor injuries, but was not transported to the hospital.

A passenger, Braxton Maske, was struck by the airbag and was taken by Kinmundy-Alma ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
