South Central School Board Sets Graduation Dates

The South Central School Board has set high school and middle school graduation dates. Middle school students will graduate on May 21st and High School students on May 22nd. Both ceremonies will begin at 7 pm.

The board also adopted its school calendar for next year. The first day of school for students will be August 18th. There will be two week Christmas break and three-day break for both Thanksgiving and Easter.

The board accepted a letter of resignation from Stacy Lockhart as South Central Middle School Athletic Director effective at the end of the current school year. Misty McCarty has been appointed as Middle School Scholar Bowl Coach and Abigail King as a volunteer girls softball coach.
