The National Weather Service is still expecting freezing precipitation for central and southeast Illinois this evening. There is still uncertainty, though, as to what form of precip will fall.

The Weather Service is indicating the area north of Effingham County could see 2 to 4 inches of snowfall. Along I-70, though, the precip is supposed to be a mixture of sleet, freezing and rain and snow.
