Louisville Man Injured in Monday Crash

 A Louisville man was injured Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in Clay County.

State police report the crash happened just after 5pm on Sailor Springs Road near Penny Drive. A car driven by 62-year-old Randy Ranes was traveling westbound when Ranes lost control of the vehicle. The car swerved off of the roadway to the right, struck a ditch, overturned multiple times, and came to a resting point on the north side of the roadway.

Ranes was taken from the scene to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana for treatment. 

Ranes was cited for improper lane usage and DUI.
