North Clay school board members Wednesday acted on a number of personnel items.

The Board approved Morgan Lutrell as a student teacher and accepted the resignation of Corie Cowsert as head high school volleyball coach effective January 15. The Board hired Kimberly Harrison as junior high track coach and accepted the resignation of Mark Pierson as a fulltime bus driver but retained him as substitute bus driver. The Board then hired Melissa Macklin as a fulltime bus driver.

School board members agreed to allow Kim Teague to offer an educational tour opportunity through EF Tours; agreed to seek fuel bids; recognized the junior high girls basketball team for reaching state tournament play; and adopted a number of board policy changes.

The Board recognized Lucy Clark as the recipient of a Mike Builta Memorial FFA jacket and pin, and reviewed an active shooter drill for faculty and staff held on the institute day January 3.
