Garrett Ziegler, a 2014 graduate of Altamont High School and a graduate of St. Louis University (magna cum laude, economics), will be the speaker at the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce First Friday Luncheon in January.

Ziegler will be speaking about the nation's economic condition and trade relationships since President Trump’s election in November of 2016. It's a familiar topic for Ziegler, who serves as a senior policy analyst in the Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy at the White House.

A member of Generation Z, Ziegler says he's appreciative of initiatives like Effingham County’s CTEC and CEO programs.

The Luncheon will be held Friday, January 3, from 12 Noon to 1 pm at the Keller Convention Center. Luncheon tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased online at effinghamcountychamber.com or by calling 217.342.4147.
