The Effingham County office of the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) thanks the Effingham community for supporting the Marine Corps Reserve Annual Toys for Tots toy drive.

With your assistance, over 200 donated toys were received to be distributed to underprivileged children in southern Illinois.

Veterans Service Officer Josh Layton, who organized the collection, said, "The Effingham community has distinguished itself by donating toys for children in need, assisting in the goal of every child having a gift under the tree on Christmas morning. With great pride, the Effingham County IDVA again thanks the Effingham community, our veterans, and all who donated, for their support in the Toys for Tots toy drive."
