Effingham City Police have made available details on a crash involving injuries that occurred earlier this month.

The crash happened just after 7pm on December 6 at 2102 South Banker Street.

Police say a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Kaitlin Doedtman of Effingham turned in front of, and was struck by, a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Angela Strohl of Watson. A third vehicle, driven by 25-year-old Erika Kessler of Clay City, sustained damage from crash debris that struck the vehicle.

A passenger in Doedtman's vehicle, 19-year-old Keith Williams of Effingham, was injured, but refused treatment.

Doedtman was cited for failure to yield and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
