Farina Man Charged w/Robbery, Aggravated Battery

A Farina man is due in Fayette County court next week in answer to charges of robbery and aggravated battery.

37-year-old Darrel Moulton is accused of taking property by threatening force. The alleged victim is over age 60. The Robbery count is a Class 1 felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

The aggravated battery count is a Class 3 felony punishable by up to five years in prison. It's alleged that Moulton struck the alleged victim in the head.

Moulton's bond was set at $25,000. He's next due in court on December 17.
