Two More Filings for County Offices

The Effingham County Clerk's office has reported two more filings for County offices.

Bruce Kessler of Altamont has filed for the Republican nomination for Effingham County Board from District F. Kessler joins Elizabeth Huston as a candidate for the County Board District F Republican nomination. Republican incumbent Jeff Simpson is not seeking re-election.

Also, Republican incumbent Bryan Kibler has filed for another term as Effingham County State's Attorney.

The County Clerk's Office will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving break. The office will be open Monday for the final day of filing.
