A Salem businessman is running for the Democrat nomination for Congress in the 15th District, seeking to succeed the retiring John Shimkus.

Craig Morton is the owner of the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Salem, and is a six-year member of the Salem City Council. Morton has shared he is running due to a lack of what he sees as moderate candidates in either party.
