Much of the time devoted to Wednesday's Teutopolis Village Board meeting dealt with Prairie View Subdivision, the residential subdivision under development on the village's southeast side.

The Board heard from Nick and Ashley Martin, who want to purchase a lot in the subdivision, but would like the lot lines redrawn to make the lot and the adjoining lot be perpendicular to one another, rather than at an angle as now drawn.

The Board agreed to ask their engineers to see about redrawing the lot lines.

Board members also voted to pay Effingham Asphalt and Connor and Connor Engineers for work done in the subdivision, and authorized the treasurer to borrow $100,000  for infrastructure work in the subdivision.

Also approved Wednesday was a bill for engineering fees and a bill for sewer extension work on the Can Arm project on the east side of the village, and a bill for the Runde sewer extension project.

Village board members approved a third addition to Funneman Subdivision; met in closed session to discuss professional ethics or performance of a company, but took no open session action; and reached a consensus that the Village should participate in a Mapping Program project with the project to begin after the first of the year at no cost to the Village.
