Library Board Awards Roof Work

Roofing relief is on the way for the Effingham Public Library.

The library board awarded roofing work designed to stop leaks during their special meeting this week. Lakeside Roofing of Collinsville was the low of three bidders on the project. Their bid was $124,524. No local roofing firms bid on the work.

Library Director Amanda McKay said work on the roofing project will begin later this month.
